Roy P. Hayes, 68, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at his residence, 707 White St.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the North Baptist Church where he was a member. Interment will take place in the Princeton Cemetery under direction of Harris - Horn Funeral Home.
He was born June 25, 1899 in Collin County, the son of Press and Lizzie Scott Hayes.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Aileen Jayes [sic] of McKinney; son, J.C. Hayes of Temple; four grandchildren; one brother, Verbie Hayes of McKinney; and two sisters, Mrs. W.D. Calhoun of Tucumcari, N. Mexico and Mrs. Cecil Jeans of Bay City.
