EDGMON, Rebia Nelly - Age 73, a resident of Myrtle Creek, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2001 at a local hospital. She was born November 8, 1927 in Longview, Texas to parents M.C. and Lula (Beard) Farrell. She was united in marriage May 30, 1944 in Hawthorne, Nevada to Leo Edgmon who preceded her in death March 19, 2001.

They moved to the Coquille Valley in 1947 and in 1973 to Myrtle Creek. Rebia loved knitting, crocheting, camping and being with her family and friends. She will be missed by all.

Survivors include daughters and son-in-laws Mary and Roger Prince of Riddle, Oregon, Sharon and Gene Coleman of Wichita, Kansas and Suzi and Mike Riley of Coos Bay, Oregon; her son Lee Edgmon of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; sisters and brother-in-laws, Ruby Standridge of Dallas, Oregon, Ruth and Dan Jones of Cresent City, California and Nona and Don Milligan of McMinnville, Oregon; brother Marion Claude Farrell of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty Gregorson.

She will be laid to rest beside Leo at Myrtle Crest Memorial Gardens in Coquille on Saturday, April 14, 2001 at 1 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Taylor's Family Mortuary in Winston.
