ALBANY--Services for Jasper "Jappy" Harvey, 78, Delaware County Nursing Home, formerly of Albany, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Parson-Rust Funeral Home. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, south of Farmland. Calling hours are at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Mr. Harvey died Saturday in Ball Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Farmland and spent his entire life in Delaware and Randolph counties. He was employed as a horse trainer for Hobson Farms and was active in horse training throughout the Midwest.
Survivors include two brothers, Lloyd Harvey, Hagerstown, and Roy Harvey, Charlotte,Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Moore, Albany.
Memorials may be sent to Delaware County Nursing Home.
