Mrs. Derflinger and her husband, George A Derflinger moved to Eugene in 1911 from Mt. Hope, Kan. She was born in Kingston, Mo., and was married in 1885. Her husband died in 1921.
She was a member of the Christian church, the Royal Neighbors of America and the Rebekah lodge. Of her six children, three are living; Dr. Earl R. Derflinger, Salem; Mrs. Vera Hills, St. Helens; and Mrs. Vida Nettleton, Portland. Two granddaughters and one great-granddaughter also survive.
Burial in Riverview cemetery will be under direction of Young's funeral home, Tigard.
