Dorothy Brittain was born July 15, 1911, in Bellfountain. She moved in 1944 to Newberg, where she co-owned a feed and seed store with her husband. She moved to Dundee in 1983. In 1927, she married Jesse; he died in 1982.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Joann Bales; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
