Iva Gray
Iva Gray, 85, died Tuesday in a local nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Revs. Archie Echols and Kathryn Boren officiating. Burial will be in Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Gray was born in Sallisaw, Okla., and was a retired beautician. She moved to Abilene in 1992 from Borger. She taught bridge at Abilene Bridge Club and was a longtime member of Order of the Eastern Star. She also was a member of the Propheteers Sunday School Class at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Libby of Kenner, La., F.M. Libby of Victoria and Bill Libby of Abilene; one daughter, Iva "Boots" Wiseman of Great Falls, Mont.; two sisters, Lillian Libby of Barnsdall, Okla., and Mildred Ball of Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to McMurry University, South 14th and Sayles, Abilene 79605; or St. Paul UMC TV Fund, 525 Beech, Abilene 79601.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
