Mrs. ELiza Ellen Janvier

Norfolk, April 24. - Mrs. Eliza Ellen Janvier, seventy-two years old, widow of Howell Palmer Janvier, of New Orleans, and daughter of the late Lieutenant-Colonel Richard Bedon Sereven, United States army, died here today. The burial will be at Ware church, in Gloucester county, Va.

Funeral of Mrs. Janvier.

Gloucester Courthouse, Va., April 26. - The funeral of Mrs. Howard Janvier, who died in Norfolk Saturday, at the home of her niece, Mrs. John Robinson, took place at Ware Church today, the rector, Rev. William B. Lee, officiating. A large number of friends and neighbors gathered to pay their last respects to this beloved woman. Those present from a distance were: Dr. and Mrs. John Robinson and Mr.s Mather Wallace, of Norfolk; Miss Lulie Cushman, of Philadelphia; Philip Meredith, of Harrisburg, Pa.; St. George Bryan, of Richmond. Mrs. Janvier was a sister of Mrs. T. James Meredith, of Wilson Creek, where she made her home.
