Services for Homer Sessions will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the O.T. Allen Funeral Home in Alto with Rev. Andy Revis officiating and burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Sessions died Saturday at his residence in Marshall. He was the son of the late Hattie and Rube Sessions of Wells.

He was retired from the lumber and timber business. He had owned and operated sawmills and three retail lumberyards in Troup, Mt. Pleasant and Marshall.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and supportive of the Rube Sessions Memorial Library of Wells.

Survivors: wife, S. E. Sessions; son, Billy Rube Sessions of San Antonio; sisters, Mrs. H. C. Polk, Mrs. Buna Nutt of Lufkin, Mrs. Gladys Hathorn of Wells and Mrs. Ruby Hammond of Merkel; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
