Lorene Thompson, 91, former resident of Springerville died Dec. 31, 2012, in Mtn. Grove, Mo.

She was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Springerville, the daughter of Herbert and Grace Day. She was the owner of Thompson Electric Store in Springerville and a realtor.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Thompson of Bullhead City; daughter Patsy Chapman of Mtn. Grove, Mo.; sister Caroline Trammell of Springerville; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, James Delbert Thompson and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Springerville Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow the service at the Eagar Cemetery.
