15 aged 21 years and 3 months. The young man accompanied by his mother went to his brother Henry's Monday morning to help butcher. He was in his usual health until 4 oclock in the afternoon when he got the so called fits from which he never rallied. His early and sudden death is a matter of deep sorrow to all his friends. To the bereaved family we extend our heartfelt sympathy. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at the family residence. Interment taking place at the Luth. cemetery of Ash Grove. Rev. Bode speaking of words of consolation and hope."
