Norfolk, VA.-December 27-The funeral of Mrs. Lillian Turner, wife of R. E. Turner, general superintendent of Virginian Pilot, took place this afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Ghent Methodist Church. The pastor of the church, Rev. J. T. Bosman, was absent from the city and the funeral was conducted by Rev. Dr. W. G. Starr, of the Cumberland Street Church, and Rev. Dr. J. E. Thacker, of the Second Presbyterian Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Turner died Monday afternoon at 3:24 o’clock, at the family residence, No. 425 Ward Avenue, after and illness of only ten days.
