Graveside funeral services for Freddie Sims age, 79, of Mt. Vernon, TX will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, TX with Kevin Rhodes officiating.
Mrs. Sims died on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on October 2, 2013 in Longview, TX the daughter of Joseph Hershel and Opal Barrett Maughon.
She married Jasper Sims and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Sims was a homemaker and member of the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ.
She is survived by her two daughters; Linda Sharpin and husband Mark of Mt. Vernon and Michelle Sims of Mt. Vernon. Grandchildren; Lisa Sharpin and Jessica Donohoe both of Dallas.
Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Steven Sims and two bothers Charles and Donald Maughon.
