Louise Lessenberry Fowler, age 80, of Parkin, passed away Saturday, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro..

Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Brown Lessenberry and Bessie Stella Wilkerson Lessenberry and her husband, Fred C. Fowler, Jr.

Mrs. Fowler graduated in 1945 from Parkin High School and attended Arkansas State Teacher's College, now known as UCA for 2 years. She lived most of her live in Cross County. She was a member of AARP, American Tinnitis Association and a member of P.A.S.T. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Parkin, Arkansas.

Survivors are son, Robert Lee Fowler of Russellville, Arkansas; daughter, Benne Elaine Fowler Robinson and husband Harry of Cherry Valley; brothers, Tommie Lessenberry and wife Laura of Augusta; Guy Lessenberry and wife Judy of Berryville; sister, Geordia Haag of Conway; two grandchildren, Nicole Fowler and Courtney Fowler both of Russellville.

Services will be Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Parkin, burial in Crittenden Memorial Park, Marion, Arkansas. Visitation will be Monday, 6 to 8 at Kernodle Funeral Home.
