Mabel Louise Nichols, 93, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, in Camas.
Mrs. Nichols was born June 15, 1911, in Phillips, Neb., to Claud & Maude (Daniels) Davis. She moved to Fern Prairie in 1947.
She worked at Pendleton Woolen Mills for many years and enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, fishing and camping.
Her husband, Mike, died in 1969; a son, Dick, died in 1989; and a grandson, Steve Conner, died in 1974.
Survivors include two daughters, Nadene Pehl of Chehalis and Leona Conner of Camas; two sons, William of Washougal and Jerry of Ocean Park; one brother, Claude Davis of Grand Junction, Colo.; one sister, Ramona Adams of Grand
Junction; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fern Prairie Cemetery.
The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
