Steven "Racer" P. Cullen, 54, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at his home.
He was born on August 30, 1958 in Ft. Madison to William and Juanita Holt Cullen. On May 5, 2007 Steve married Leigh Leaverton in Memphis, TN after being companions since 1995. He worked production at DuPont and also filled in for supervisors when needed. He was of the catholic faith. Steve loved boating, riding his Harley and being a doggy daddy to his misfits.
Survivors include wife, Leigh Leaverton of Ft. Madison; daughter, Amanda Cullen of Riverside, CA; step daughter: Serena Stevens of Laguna Beach, CA; a son, Jeirod (Hannah) Nichting of Ft. Madison; two brothers, Charles Cullen and Todd (Ellen)Cullen of Ft. Madison; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Thomas & John Cullen.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Mark Spring officiating. The family will meet with friends from 1 PM until the time of the service at 2 PM. Per his wishes his body has been cremated.
