Eleanor (Borton) Strawsma Stewart, 88, of Lafayette, died at 10 AM Tuesday, March 6, 2007, in Noblesville. Born Jan. 20, 1919, in Tippecanoe County, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Anna Borton. Surviving are three daughters, Bonita Davis of Brownsburg, Rita Quattrocchi (husband: Thomas) of Fishers and Rhonda Hasty (husband: Steve) of Dallas, TX; a son, Randy Strawsma (wife: Marcia) of Lafayette; four sisters, Edith Jennings (husband: Tom) of Lafayette, Lois Goris of Kalamazoo, MI, Donna Liggett and Betty Beever, both of Lafayette; and a brother, Arnold Lee Borton (wife: Elsie) of California. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to 2 PM service Friday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, the Rev. David Lindemer officiating. Entombment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Lisa DesChamps, Mike Davis, Joe Davis, Casey Strawsma, Gina Loggins, Nicole Lakatos and Toni Burton; and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie Kirts of Lafayette and Sandra Lee of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Patricia German and Janet Jackson; and a brother, Gene Borton.
