AULD, Mrs. Deborah Ann -- died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jessie McFarland, in Greenville, at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, following an extended illness of kidney complications. She came here on April 25 and on April 30th, became ill and had been bedfast since. Short funeral services will be held at the McFarland home at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. C. C. Cullison, after which the remains will be taken to her old home at Atwood, west of Tuscola, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist church, the Rev. J. L. Bilby officiating. Interment will be made at Atwood. Mrs. Auld was one of 13 children born to William and Mary (Briggs) Bird, born March 25, 1859, in Gallion county, Ohio. On Feb. 22, 1877, she married J. L. Auld, who died 12 years ago. She is survived by the one daughter, Mrs. Ethel McFarland of this city and a son, Chas. F. Auld of Champaign, 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two brothers, J. E. Bird of Nampa, Idaho, and George E. Bird of Quenemo, Kans., and a step sister, Mrs. Hattie Dilley of Caldwell, Ohio. She was a member of the Methodist church. Greenville, IL Advocate 7-22-1935
