Fannie ‘Ma Ma' Dubose
Fannie "Ma Ma" Dubose, 79, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2006, at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with the Rev. Robert Cecil officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Dubose was born March 2, 1926, in Madisonville. She was a waitress in several restaurants in Corsicana until she retired from Holiday Inn in 1990. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Dubose Sr.; mother, Millie Vaughan; sons, Rex Dubose Jr. and William Wade Bonds; and grandson, William Burl Dubose.
Survivors include her son, Burl Dubose of Corsicana; granddaughters, Mary Bonds of Corsicana, Linda Stracener of Mesquite and Margie Dubose of Houston; great-granddaughters, Jenny Linch and Alexis Buchanan, both of Corsicana, and Taryn Ellis of Mesquite.
