Clarence Weller, 82, Valley City, North Dakota formerly of Dazey, North Dakota, passed away Saturday, December 29, at the Sheyenne Care Center surrounded by family. Clarence was born May 23, 1930, the son of Eugene and Helen (Koch) Weller. He attended rural school and later attended Dazey High School. Clarence was united in marriage to Doris Vasfaret on April 22, 1951 in Dazey. He farmed his entire life in the Dazey area. He was a lifetime member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and also served as a board member. He was a 37 year member of the Eagles and he was also a former township board member. Clarence is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris; a son, Rick (Cheryl) Weller, Dazey; a daughter, Janell (Kevin) Becker, Dazey; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; a sister Violet (Douglas) Quick, Valley City; a sister-in-law, Arlene Michaelson, Turner, Oregon and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Viola Carlson, five brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
