Sand Springs- Lima Lavae (Enyart) Treat, 99, homemaker, died Tuesday in Jenks. Services pending. Mobley-Dodson. (Tulsa World)
-----------------
Lima Lavae (Enyart) Treat, 99, of Sand Springs, passed away on January 1, 2013, in Jenks, Oklahoma, less than one year from the century mark. She was born on October 9, 1913 in Bolivar, Missouri to Ernest Sims Enyart and Edith (Legan) Enyart.

She was a graduate of Tulsa's Daniel Webster High School. Lima Enyart became Mrs. John Treat in 1949 when she joined John "Lloyd" Treat in marriage. John preceded her in death on April 18, 1979.

A long-time member of Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs, she was an accomplished pianist and frequently played at Broadway and at other local functions. She also accompanied her daughter who sang for various activities, and in her early twenties she sang with and accompanied a quartet on radio. She was also quite a tennis player. June Cleaver of "Leave It To Beaver" TV fame could have been her role model because Lima had never worn a pair of jeans in her life, but preferred to dress up and wear makeup. Flower gardening was another skill and hobby that she excelled in over the years. For some reason, unknown to her family, she was a Freddie Fender music fan and frequently listened to his songs. She was also a very active member of the Senior Citizens Center where she enjoyed playing cards, especially SKIPBO, and where she was crowned "Beauty Queen" on a couple of occasions.

Survivors include her daughter and husband and their three children and a stepson, her son and wife and their five children, husband of her deceased daughter Jean Earlene Lunt, and their son, a stepdaughter and husband and their three children, son of a deceased stepson David L. Treat and his deceased wife Darlene Treat, husband of a deceased stepdaughter Ladonna Sue Nichols, and their two children, two children of a deceased stepson Ronald B. Treat and his deceased wife Carlene Treat, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, a sister, and many extended family members and friends from the Sand Springs community. In addition to the deceased children and stepchildren mentioned above, Lima was also preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Edith Enyard, her husband John Treat, and two brothers, Cy Enyart and Virlie Enyart.

Visitation for Mrs. Treat is scheduled for Saturday, January 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, January 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with funeral services scheduled for 1:00 p.m., on Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Mobley-Dodson Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
