FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR DAYTON WOMAN
Funeral services for Hulda Hutchens, Dorsey, who died Saturday at her home at Dayton at the age of 73, were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Macy's chapel, with the Rev. C.C. Rarick of Newberg officiating. Burial was in the Brookside cemetery at Dayton.
Born in Hardin county, Iowa, in 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson Hutchens, Mrs. Dorsey came with her parents to Newberg in 1876. Since 1901 her home had been in Dayton.
She is survived by her husband, J.C. Dorsey, a son, August E. Dorsey, of Klamath Falls, and two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Goodrich and Mrs. Verda Reid, both of Dayton.
Mrs. Dorsey was the last of a family of 16 children.
