W.J. CRESON, 72, DIES HERE; FINAL SERVICES CONDUCTED TODAY
William J. Creson, 72, died Tuesday in McMinnville where he had been residing. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. in Macy's memorial chapel Thursday (today) and interment was at Brookside cemetery at Dayton. Rev. S.J. Osborne officiated.
Creson was born in Iowa, Aug. 27, 1873, the son of Samuel Creson and Nancy Hutchens Creson. His wife, who was Lulu Craven before her marriage, died in 1933. He is survived by a son, Donald O. Creson of Bremerton, Wash., and by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Owen of Salem and Mrs. Rachel E. Jefferies of McMinnville.
