George Barber Rites Conducted
Funeral services for George Barber, Buffalo, N.Y., were conducted Wednesday afternoon (March 1, 1950) at the Halwig Funeral Home. The Rev. Victor Stauffer, pastor of the Five Mile Baptist church, officiated.
Pall bearers included: Howard Bozard, Andrew Shaffer, Lawrence Newton and Robert Morgan.
In attendance from out-of-town were: Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Barber, Beverly Barber, Frank Doyle, all of Buffalo; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Newton, Bradford; Mr. and Mrs. Willard Morgan, Mrs. Eva Bentley, Miss Ella May Bozard, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Shaffer, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Hitchcock, all of the Five Mile Road.
Also, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bozard, Nelson Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hitchcock, Mrs. Floyd Rockwell and Jay Hortan, all of Allegany.
