This Peter Bartleson is nephew to the Henry Bartleson buried in Christ Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, and is not the same person as the Peter Bartleson buried with that Henry. This Peter's father Peter (Sr.), and that Peter's brothers Henry and Bartle, were sons of Eusebius "Sebus/Sebastian" Bartelson, who died at Whitemarsh, Montgomery County, PA.

Mennonite burial records Page 18 at this link list this couple for this cemetery (http://www.mhep.org/files/PDF/CemeteryDatabase/surname-B-report.pdf).

Genealogy citing a family Bible source concurs on dates as confirmed by newpapers, but omits cemetery: (http://ourgenes.net/Sources.htm):

"Bible of Peter Bartleson. Births copied when in the possession of Ida L. Bodine, a great-granddaughter of Peter & Ann. As of early 1940s the Bible was thought to possibly be in the possession of Ida's cousin, Harriet (Mrs. James) of Doylestown, PA. This information per Mary E. Woodman."

[ The Bible appears to have traveled in the line of Peter and Ann's daughter Elizabeth Bartleson Ewer. Current location of the Bible, unclear. ]

A descent genealogy list on this Bartleson line is available online at http://ourgenes.net/Data%20File/d_34.htm#29063

Peter and Ann's children Jesse and Amanda each married VanSants.

Note From Tom Myer, Contributor #47272121, March 2013:

I have a copy of the cemetery transcription. Peter & Ann Bartleson, James M., Lizzie & Edward Bartleson are all buried together along with their daughter Mary (Bartleson) Ayres. Margaret (Bartleson) Roberts is buried in the next row.

[ Lizzie was a great-grandchild of Peter and Ann, rather than their daughter Elizabeth who married. ]

Myers reports other Bartleson family members are in Section A, rows 11-12
