The funeral for Mrs. Ruth Ward Kyle, 74, widow of C. Eugene Kyle, who died Tuesday in the National Lutheran Nursing Home, Washington, D.C., will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Porterfield-Minnick Chapel. The Rev. Alfred R. Shumate will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Kyle family square in the Speedwell Methodist Church Cemetery.
The deceased was a native of Wythe County, being the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Ward. She resided in Wytheville until a few weeks ago when she entered the nursing home in Washington.
Surviving are two sons, J. Fred Kyle, Clarksburg, W. Va., James R. Kyle, Neosho, Mo., a sister, Mrs. Guy S. Brown, Radford.
