Mrs. Elizabeth Cuppy died at 6:30 last evening of pneumonia, after seven weeks' illness, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. R. Harris, at 205 north Nineteenth street. She was in her 70th year, having been born in Kentucky, July 20, 1821. She came with her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. W. Bridges, to Sullivan county when she was 6 years of age. She was married to Hayden Cuppy August 20th, 1840. She was the mother of eleven children, five of whom survive her: Mr. W. H. Cuppy, of Hinesboro, Ill.; Mrs. F. M. St. John, Hymera, Ind.; Mrs. J. S. VanBuskirk, city; Dr. J. S. VanBuskirk, of Shelburn, and Mrs. J. R. Harris, this city. - T. H. Express, Saturday.
