ABBEVILLE - Mary Norman Bowie, 85, of Abbeville, died December 30, 2012 at the Abbeville Area Medical Center. Mrs. Bowie was born in Wilkes County GA, to the late James and Elizabeth Andrews Scott. She was twice married, first to the late Roy W. Norman, then to the late Thrashley Bowie. Mrs. Bowie was a member of the former Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Bowie are her two sons, Logan Norman and his wife, Sandra and Stan Norman and his wife, Sue, all of Abbeville; a daughter, Connie Smith and her husband, Pete of Rock Hill SC; three sisters, Sara Langley of Abbeville, Ruby Hughes of Greenwood and Nelda Fain of Elbert County GA; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside at Melrose Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home.
