Hiram Barrett died very suddenly at his home on South Street last Saturday morning from heart disease. The deceased was 70 years of age and has always resided in this vicinity. He leaves a wife, tow daughters, Mrs. Dan Holdredge and Mrs. E.E. Hoxie and tree sons, Dan, Paul and Laurence all of whom reside with in a few miles of Edmeston, also a boher Lyman and a ister who lives in Chicago. Burial was in Union cemetery.
