Mr. Kuehn who had worked for the Illinois Zinc Company for a number of years, died following a long siege of asthma, which became serious a month ago. He was a native of Germany, where he was born November 3, 1845. At the age of thirty-one he came to America, settling in La Salle, and in 1877 he was married to Amelia Fritz.
The following children survive: Mrs. Robert Fritz, Peru; Mr. William Thompson, La Salle; Misses Amanda and Martha Kuehn and Gustav and Otto Kuehn, all of Peru.
