DAN WAYNE BRIGHT, 69, died December 28, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Blair Bright and Eva Lee Rogers Bright and a brother, Roger Blair Bright.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marilyn (June) Bright; daughters, Kim Scroggins (Mike) of Water Valley and Kristi Sparrenberger (Sloan) of Nesbit; sisters, Charlene Cooper (Hal) of Millbrook, AL and Glenda Rust (Bobby) of Conway, AR.; seven grandchildren, BreAnna, Brandon and Nick Faust, Garrett Scroggins, and Jacob, Loren and Alyssa Sparrenberger.

Mr. Bright served our country for three and a half years as a Helicopter Crew Chief in the Army. He retired from the MED after 30 years and retired from the Memphis Fire Department after 33 years.

He was an avid coon hunter and loved to train dogs and horses.

He dearly loved each and every one of his family members, as well as his church, Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Burial in Ashland Cemetery, Ashland, MS.
