Graveside services for W.B. "Willie" Smith, 95, of Amherst, Texas were officiated by the Masonic lodge. Smith was a member of the Baptist church and had been a Mason since 1965.
Miss Fannie Lou Taylor married W.B. Smith in 1889 at Corinth, Mississippi. She preceded him in death.
W. B. Smith moved from Jean in 1919, he was well-known and had many friends in the Jean community.
Survived by four daughters; four sons; nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
He was the uncle of E.M. Robinson, Mrs. T.J. Stewart, Mrs. Ludie Downey, all of Jean; Mrs. E.D. Willis of Graham.
