Dr Chas. E. Kircher
Dr. Chas. E. Kircher, 88, died April 16 at the Mary Lanning hospital (sic) in Hastings. Dr. Kircher was a retired Presbyterian minister and for a time supplied the Edgar Presbyterian church (sic).
He had also been school teacher, college president of two eastern colleges and also had served as field representative and vice-president of Hastings College. He had pastorates in Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas and Wood River and Fullerton in Nebraska.
Dr. Kircher was preceded in death by his first wife in 1926. His second wife whom he married in 1939 died in 1941. Later he married Mrs. Blanche Burton who survives him, also two sons and two daughters, Dr. Carl E. Kircher of Redlands, California and Dr. Clarence A. Kircher of Sacramento, California, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Both sons are pastors of large churches in California.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Hastings with Dr. Silas G. Kessler officiating.
