Short illness fatal to Mrs Jennie Freeland.
Mrs, Jennie Freeland, 69 of 1511 south 23rd street, died this morning at 10.30 O'clock, after an illness of several weeks.
Born January 11, 1873, at Yorktown, Indiana, she spent most of her life in Elwood. She was the daughter of Hezekiah and Sarah Stout. A member of the Baptist church, she married George Jackson, who preceded her in death. In 1913, she married Robert Freeland, who is also deceased.
Surviving are five children, Ralph, Fred, and Howard Jackson, Mrs Lottie Kennedy and Mrs Opal Jarrell, all of Elwood, and two step---daughters Mrs, Stella Blue ( Belew ) of Frankton, and Mrs Lena Shetterly of Elwood, there are 29 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The body was removed to the clark funeral chapel.

This was Roberts Freelands second wife his first was Margie Law.

Jennie Stout was also married to Robert Freeland on September 20th 1913 in Anderson Madison County Indiana.
