Born in Herzog, Russia. Immigrated to the US on the SS Ohio, arriving Baltimore, MD on Nov. 23, 1875.

"Anton Dreiling, 83, Dies in Victoria"

Anton P. Dreiling, 83, died at his home in Victoria at 7 o'clock this morning.
Survivors are his wife, Eva, six sons, Wendelin, Hays, Alfred, Victoria; Bonaventure, Larned; Richard, Hutchinson; Clarence, Victoria, and William, Victoria. Three sisters (sic) also survive him, Mrs. Thomas A. Baier, Victoria; Mrs. William Baier, Victoria, and Mrs. Alvin Polifka, Catherine Rt. Hays.
Funeral services will be at St. Fidelis church in Victoria at 9 o'clock Saturday morning with the Rev. Father Richard Bollig officiating. Burial will be in the St. Fidelis cemetery, Victoria. Brock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The body will lie in state at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Victoria, from 10 o'clock Tuesday morning.
