Dale Arthur Wallin, 79, of Klamath Falls passed away Dec. 23, 2012 at Sky Lakes Medical Center.
He was born March 25, 1933 in Chadron, Neb., to Prince and Anna (Buskie) Wallin. The family moved to Klamath Falls when he was 3 years old. He attended Henley High School and loved to tell stories of all the crazy things he did with his friends that had them shoveling coal or some other chore because they were always in trouble.
He worked his whole life in the agriculture industry from the potato fields to the potato cellar and then finally working at the Klamath Irrigation District until he retired.
His favorite past time was fishing and hunting, He enjoyed fishing with his in-laws Pam Inman, Mike and Rosie Jessing and his friends Bill and Margie Brown. Even when he couldn't see as well, his lifelong friend Phil Harkins and son Shaun Harkins always included him in their week-long hunting camp-outs.
He was always joking and loved just being with people. Everyone's most cherished memories will be Christmas and having our own personal Santa Claus.
Survivors include his wife Susan A (Jessing) Wallin of 38 years, daughter Jennifer Baker and Tony Bair, sons Todd Wallin and Steve Wallin from a previous marriage, grandchildren Sgt. William Wallin, Haden Wallin, McKenna Wallin, Erika Baker, Willy Baker-Bair, Michael Baker-Bair and great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Tira, Benjamine, brother Herb and Wanda Wallin, in-laws Pam and Harley Inman, Mike and Rosie Jessing, Larry Jessing, Phil and Nancy Jessing, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Prince and Anna (Buskie) Wallin, sisters Ollie Newberry and Hulda Hammond, brothers Bert Wallin, Earnest Wallin, Kenneth Wallin and Wayne Wallin.

He will be very missed by anyone that knew him.
