Mrs. Morrison died at 10:45 p.m. Friday, July 2, 1999, in Covenant Hospital Lubbock.

Born Jan. 21, 1933, in Dimmitt, she grew up in Dimmitt and attended schools there.

She married Tom Morrison on March 10, 1951, in Clovis, N.M. After her marriage, she lived in Dimmitt until moving to Mangum, Okla., in 1964. She moved to Kress in 1984.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mangum.

Survivors include her husband, Tom Morrison; one son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Donna Morrison of Kress; two brothers, Homer Ragland of Lockney and Jack Ragland of Odessa; two sisters, Melba Austin of Plainview and Billie Schacher of Lockney; her mother-in-law, Sarah Morrison of Mangum, Okla.; five grandchildren and 14 great-grandchidren.

Her parents, Homer and Ethel Ragland; two sisters, Hattie Mae Stapp and Leona Yancy; and one brother, Richard Ragland, are deceased.

Pallbearers will be nephews Lester Johnson, Ronnie Austin, Larry Stapp, Ronnie Stewart, Dana Martin and Mike Belk.
