Mrs. M.C. Bowman
MOUNT HOLLY--Mrs. Lucy Wilmina Bowman died Friday in a Fredericksburg nursing home after a prolonged illness. Born at Shadyside, Northampton County, she was a longtime resident of Mount Holly in Westmoreland County.
She is survived by her husband, Capt. Mark C. Bowman, (USN ret.), three sons, James Dall Brown, Jr. of Fredericksburg and Mount Holly, George F. Brown of Princeton, N.J., and David K. Brown of Dallas, Tex.; a [half] brother, Stafford Kellam of Plainville, Conn.; and 11 [correction--12] grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at their home, "Spring Grove," at Mount Holly.
Welch Funeral Home in Montross is handling the arrangements which were not complete this morning.
