Andrew Lenore Chisum was the son of Andrew Jackson Chisum and Savannah A Georgia Johnson. He was born 22 Jul 1883 in Whitesboro, Grayson, Texas. He was the second of nine children. There are many records that show he was called Andy and there are a mix of records on his middle name. Some say Lee and some say Lenore. When he registered for the WWI draft, he wrote Lenore so I suspect that was the official name.
On 26 Nov 1906 he married Jessie May Ball in Montague County, Texas. They would have 5 children. He worked as a farmer most of his life. Andy and Jessie settled in Duncan Oklahoma and that is where both of them died. He died 15 Nov 1970, not the 3rd as Jessie's obit says. Jessie lived on to the ripe old age of 102 passing on 5 Sep 1989.
When Jessie died in 1989, they had 13 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 50 great-great grandchildren, and two great-great-great grandchildren.
