Charles E. Barnhart, age 91, was a resident of Spanish Fort, AL. Mr. Barnhart retired from CBS affiliate WBBM Radio and moved to Mobile in 1978. He was a member of the Mobile Amateur Ham Radio Club and his hobbies included shooting and golf. Mr. Barnhart and his wife appeared in a movie starring Candace Bergen and once traveled with a carnival throughout the Midwest. His wife of 65 years, Velma Pierce Barnhart, preceded him in death. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He is interred with his wife's family at Pine Crest Cemetery.
