Obituary
Robert D. "Bob" Faulkner, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at his home in Liberal.
He was born Jan. 17, 1929, to Carcel and Opal (Cronkite) Faulkner in Geneseo.
He was married to Mary Lou Robbins.
He married to Beverly Doreen Taber Dec. 4, 1964, in Clayton, N.M. She died May 8, 1995.
He served in the United States Army, Company 17th Armored Engineer Battalion, during the Korean conflict. He was employed as an officer with the Newport News, Va., Police Department then the Liberal Police Department. He worked as a clerk for more than 20 years for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline.
Survivors include his two daughters, Joyce Bailey, Gladstone, Va., and Roxanne Walker, and husband, Jeff, Derby; stepson, Douglas Naegele, Wichita; two stepdaughters, Tracy Carlile and husband Mike, Liberal, and Kelly Jackson and husband, Karry, Cookson, Okla.; one sister, Anita Roberts, Kent, Wash.; eight grandchildren, Casie Carlile, Dylan McElvania, James McElvania, Barbara Naegele, Stephanie Walker, Cristy Boisey, Aaron Bailey and Justin Bailey; and four great-grandchildren; Jayden Graves, Aaiden Boisey, Makailah Boisey and Kaileigh Boisey
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Buster, and infant sister, Carol June.
o Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wyatt Carpenter presiding.
Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday with the family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to receive friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Liberal Animal Shelter in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. Second, Liberal, KS 67901.
