Ruth R. Kiley, 65, of Kittanning, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian. She was born May 15, 1947, in Kittanning, a daughter of Herbert Frank Slama and Agnes Chromiak Slama and she was a lifelong resident of the area. Ruth worked as a receptionist at Central Blood Bank. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Church and a member of Christ Prince of Peace Parish, Ford City, and Jednota. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and spending time with her family. Ruth is survived by her son, Frank Gadley, of Kittanning; and brothers, Herbert and Theda Slama, of Schenley, and Robert and Janet Slama, of Slate Lick. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the MANTINI FUNERAL HOME, Ford City. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday in Christ Prince of Peace Parish with Father Bryan Summers officiating. Interment at Lawn Haven Cemetery.
