William Elvin MOORMAN, 86, of Wichita Falls, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m.,Saturday,Oct.21,2006, in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction ofOwens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
A son of the late Richard Floyd and Nettie (Ballard) MOORMAN, he was born June 28, 1920, in Clarksville, Texas. On April 17, 1956, he married Helen Tracy in Wichita Falls.
Mr. MOORMAN worked for the City of Wichita Falls for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Helen Moorman of Wichita Falls; children, Curtis Mason and wife, Marlene of Phoenix, Ariz., Carol Gill of Oregon, Eddie GOLLEHER and wife Martha of Wichita Falls, Cathy Terrel and husband, Norman of Granbury, Shirley Cress and husband, Jim of
Wichita Falls, and Steve MOORMAN and wife, Lisa of Wichita Falls; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Beddow and husband, Bill of Palmdale, Calif., and Barbara Tuel of Reno, Nev.; also, his brothers Ray GOLDEN and wife, Myra of Wolf Creek, Mont., and L.D.
