DEATH FOLLOWED SURGICAL OPERATION

Mrs. Edith Rogers Dies at Jane Chinn Hospital—Is Survived by Many Relatives Living Here.


Following an operation too long delayed for an internal trouble, which was performed at the Jane Chinn hospital on Monday, Mrs. Edith Rogers, 43 years of age, died at 6 o'clock yesterday morning. She had been a sufferer for a long time past, but was not taken to the hospital until a week ago, when her condition was critical.

Her body was removed to her late home on South Hall street and the funeral services will be conducted from the First M. E. church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The interment will be at the Webb City cemetery.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her mother, Mrs. M. E. Foster, and one son Bert Rogers; also three sisters, Mrs. Mary Warden, (sic) Frank Barnes, and Lora Evans, and three brothers, W. M., J. H. and T. L. Hulsey, all residents of Webb City.
