June Rankin Riddle, 90, of Gastonia, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Charlotte, daughter of the late Robert Richard and Lillian Culp Rankin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of over fifty years, Rev. R. Flay Riddle, brother, Robert Richard Rankin, Jr. and sister, Dorothy R. Adams.
June was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a humble lady serving her Lord, family, friends and was always encouraging others. June was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm in the Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors with Dr. James Hilton officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pisgah ARP Church Cemetery.
