Services For Leroy Westbrook

Services were held Wednesday at Bratcher Funeral Chapel in Denison for Leroy Westbrook, 72, retired fireman for MKT railroad who died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 1976 at his home. The Rev. Danny Wood and the Rev. Bob Langley conducted the service.

Burial was at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.

He was born in Whitewright, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Westbrook. He was married to Stella Mae Rodding on June 1, 1949 in Sherman.

Surviving are his son, James Westbrook of Fort Worth; step-sons, Billy Redding of Denison, Troy Redding of League City; step-daughters, Mrs. Melva Turnbull of Plano, and Mrs. Deloris Jones of Denison; his brothers, John Westbrook of Denison, Frank Westbrook of Sherman, and Bill Westbrook of Bells; a sister, Mrs. Zella Spencer of Denison; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
