Born July 17, 1930 in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Adams.
Mae was employed both as a waitress and cook for Arner's Restaurant and later worked as a cafeteria aid for the Governor Mifflin School District at the Mifflin Park Elementary School.
Mrs. Miller-Dieter was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth R. Miller, Sr.; her second husband Richard Dieter, her son Irvin G. Heffner, and her brother Jerome Adams.
Survivors include: Children: Clarence V. Heffner of Myerstown; Kenneth R. Miller, Jr. of Reading; Cecilia M. (Sis) Riegel of West Lawn; Glenn D. Miller of Rehrersburg; Ralph J.(Chip) Miller of Boyertown; Sandra L. Kreider of Lower Alsace Twp.; and Norine A. Zatratz of Wyomissing; 4 Step-children; 3 Brothers; 4 sisters; 15 Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren; 5 Step-Grandchildren; 6 Step-Great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6 Fairlane Rd., Reading, PA 19606, on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11:00AM with Father Eugene P. Ritz officiating.
Cemetery:
A burial will follow immediately after the service at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
