"Mrs. Otto Clark, resident of 806 West Main Street, Danville, died Friday morning in the St Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis, where she had been a patient for the past five weeks.
She was born near Dana, June 13, 1899, the daughter of the late Ellis and Lucy Haworth Majors. She was married to Otto Clark, who survives, in Vermilion County, July 26, 1926. They made their home in Brook for several years, moving to Danville 25 years ago. She was a birthright member of Hopewell Metting.
Fern, as she was known to her friends, was an accomplished musician and housewife. Her hobbies were her flowers, within her home and garden, and cooking. She devoted her time to her home and hobbies when her husband was away during his teaching profession.
Services were Sunday afternoon in Weaver Funeral Home with the Rev. Lloyd King and Rev. Edgar Byram officiating. Burial was in the Stilesville Cemetery.
Surviving with the husdand are three brothers, Bertie Majors, of Kingman; Merle Majors, of Indianapolis; and Fred Majors, of Detroit, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews, some of which reside on the west coast."
