Margie Marie Chapman, 64, Crossland Avenue, died Saturday, July 29, 2000, at her home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sykes Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday. She was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Clarksville, daughter of Emmett Lewis and Bertha Mae Lyle Lewis. She was preceded in death by two sons, Floyd Matthew Chapman and Richard Clayton Chapman. Mrs. Chapman was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include a daughter, Shelia Wilson, Belleville, Ill.; a brother, Gilbert Clayton Lewis, Collierville; a sister, Gladys Bernice Register, Stockbridge, Ga.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
