David Nease was born in Missouri, a son of David Clinton Neace 1891-1971 and Della Ann Lenox 1891-1990. He had siblings James Edward 1914–?, Russell 1914–1993, Virginia Irene 1916-2000, Violet 1918-?, Joseph H. 1920–1920 and Boyd 1925–1926.

The family lived in St. Louis, Missouri where his father worked for the Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company.

David was a World War II Marine veteran, serving from 1942-45.

He married Delores Shirley Lapin 1927-1986 in 1950. They divorced in 1951.

David lived in Youngtown, Arizona in 1973, perhaps with his parents.

Survivors included his sister Virginia Fisher.

Note; His middle name was Marion, which he changed to Hale in the 1950's. Grave stone hows "C" for some reason.
