GRADY BLANTON, CATTLE BUYER, DIES SUDDENLY.

Grady Winfred Blanton, prominent cattle buyer, died suddenly Monday night in the Lee County Hospital. He was 68. A native of Chambers County, Mr. Blanton moved to Lee 55 years ago to make his home here. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. from Frederick's chapel with Rev. Jon Appleton officiating. Interment will be in Rosemere cemetery.
Survivors include the widow; one son, Douglas Blanton of Opelika; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Elmer Lazenby and Mrs. Griffin McGinty of Opelika, Mrs. F. E. Whitley and Mrs. E. R. Farley of Birmingham; a number of nieces and nephews.
Frederick's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
